Quentin Mocudet, French Champion and Profurl Partner!

Quentin Mocudet, 2024 French Offshore Racing Espoir Champion 🏆, is joining us as one of our partners in 2025. 😃

Quentin was already familiar with our brand and products, having completed an internship at the Profurl Design Office in 2022 as part of his Master’s degree. During his time at our Pornichet headquarters, he worked on the eco-design of Profurl and Wichard products.

"It’s really great for making maneuvers easier. Everything becomes simpler with the NEX0.9. The drum diameter is perfectly designed—not too heavy, yet it allows us to furl our sails (gennaker) effortlessly in any condition, even upwind or at close-hauled angles. And the cherry on top—the anti-unfurling ratchet works in both directions, no matter which way the sail is furled. For me, the biggest advantage is how much easier it makes maneuvers!"
